Jet Ski

29 x 49cm palette knifed oil paint on canvas

Bush walks through Kuringgai National Park, NSW. The Jet Ski…a tiny dark dot with a white wash trail on my canvas, my response in jest to arriving at this majestic view and finding all my senses drawn to a tiny speck in the vast river below me! You know when you hear one what I’m talking about. Milky blue hues of the Hawkesbury River lead the eye ultimately to a painted suggestion of the Brooklyn Bridge in the far far distance. Framed in recycled Victorian Ash.
