Libertarian Banksia

Libertarian Banksia, palette knife oil on canvas, 28 x 46cm

I think this oil painting has a Liberty Print vibe about it but on researching the word ‘Liberty’ I found the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy’s description of Libertarianism and in light of todays political landscape I rather think this word apt to my sentiments. The link will take you to read for yourself – Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

I paint ‘alla prima’ which means ‘at first attempt’ my paintings are usually completed within one session.
